Excellent low temperature performance
Sodium ion batteries can operate in the range of -40℃ to 60℃. At room temperature, Paragonage's sodium-ion batteries still maintain a capacity retention rate of over 90% after more than 2,000 cycles, which is significantly ahead of industry peers. Recently, in the extreme cold areas such as -40℃ in Siberia and -20℃ at night in Datong, Shanxi Province, the performance is maintained at more than 80%, comparing with the phenomenon of lithium-ion battery and lead-acid battery, which have a rapid power drop or even can not be started in the cold areas, the sodium-ion battery can be widely used in the cold areas.
Excellent multiplier performance
At present, the industry is the only company that can develop and produce ultra-high-multiplication sodium-ion batteries, which can reach 30C continuous discharge and up to 100C instantaneous discharge, and also support -20℃ low-temperature large-multiplication (up to 20C) discharge. Compared with the common 2.5C of lithium batteries, it has an unrivalled advantage in the high-multiplication performance scenario. Recently, the company has broken through the core technical difficulties of ultra-high-rate charging, and can achieve a maximum of 25C charging, which means that it only takes 2 minutes and 30 seconds to complete 100% charging.

The technical principles and equipment are more common with lithium, so the commercialisation speed is much faster than other electrochemical energy storage routes. Compared with lithium, lead-acid and other batteries often appear in the explosion, fire and other phenomena, the safety performance of sodium power is far more than lithium, impact, pinprick, overcharge and discharge tests are safer than lithium. Meanwhile, as the first batch of enterprises that have passed the evaluation of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, we will continue to optimise the comprehensive performance.
Paragonage 2024-2026 total capacity design planning 5GWh, of which 200MWh pilot line officially put into production in the first quarter of 2024, the mass production line is expected to start by the end of 2024, and achieve full production in 2026.
